PURPOSE / PRINCIPLE / APPLICATION
01 / Different materials, different jobs.
Use the adhesive for the approved board-to-board edge joint. Compound Red belongs between the rigid layers; perimeter sealant belongs at the specified perimeter joints. Keep the three functions separate.
02 / Plan the finish.
Confirm joint preparation, installation and curing with the current board instructions. Tapered-edge board finishing is a separate jointing method.
