🔇 See how ProSilence U-Boats dampen vibrations!
The video demonstrates how DreamScreen U-Boats effectively decouples the floor structure using soft silica gel for maximum sound insulation. The vibrations are transferred to water in the demonstration to visualize how the system works.

🌟 DreamScreen ProSilence U-Boat v2 🌟
U-Boats are used to decouple floor structures from the substrate and are an important part of preventing structure-borne sound in home cinemas, studios or other rooms that require effective sound insulation.
🔍 What makes the v2 version special?
- Made of exclusive silica gel – softer than rubber and better at absorbing vibration energy 🎧
- Designed for standard 48 mm stud frames 🛠️
- Long life, durable and temperature resistant ♻️
- RED series with even softer silica gel for extra demanding installations
⚙️ How does it work?
The U-Boat is easily installed under the studs in the floor and ensures that the floor floats – completely disconnected from the existing joists. This reduces the transmission of impact sound and low-frequency vibrations to the rest of the building.
📌 Advantages
- Optimal floor decoupling for maximum insulation 🔇
- Made from specially formulated silica gel – softer and more effective than traditional materials 🎯
- Fits standard 48 mm steel or wood studs
- Affordable and efficient solution for home cinema and studio
- Easy installation without the need for special tools 🧰
The result: A floating floor structure that prevents vibration noise from propagating throughout the building – giving you the silence you need.
