NEW! S30 in 50dB version is Daloc’s top range of acoustic doors. This is the door for those who place high demands on sound insulation, where the acoustic door can often be the weak point. Daloc is a professional door manufacturer that delivers doors of the highest quality. The doors are often used in public buildings, but are just as suitable for a hi-end home theater.

The only thing in our range of acoustic doors that dampens more than these is a double door (tandem door) of the same type, which is also available on request. There are a number of factors that affect the effect of two extra doors and the effect will never be 50+50dB as the dB scale is logarithmic. The extra effect also depends on the distance between the two doors being installed, e.g. a distance of 30 cm will provide a higher insulation value than 10 cm, so the greater the distance, the better. It is also a good idea to install acoustic panels on either both or one of the doors on the inside of the airlock as this will further increase the insulation value. It is also worth noting that if there is a small gap between the two doors, you may risk a vacuum and thus make it difficult to open the door, so it is a good idea to leave some distance/space between the two doors. This can also be solved by using a soundproof air gap in the space between the two doors, but this in turn will reduce the effect somewhat depending on the quality of the insulation solution of the lock. You can normally expect an attenuation of 60-70dB instead of 50dB when using a double sound door and thus the sound door in such a case will attenuate almost as well as a fully ProSilence-insulated wall.

The frame is installed using the adjustable frame sleeves. The frame sleeves are adjusted with an Allen key (12 mm). The frame must be sealed with insulation or equivalent (not included) and then sealed with sealant to achieve the relevant fire, sound and smoke tightness class.

In order to achieve the right function and meet the requirements, it is very important that the doors are installed correctly and with the right screws.

We recommend the following: In concrete walls, masonry walls and wooden stud walls, use the concrete screw Fischer FFS 7.5×72 (art 521547) with or without nylon plug 10×50, and in steel stud walls use the screw Würth Zebra pias 6.3 x 38 (art 0205 63 38).
